Obituary of Charles Gho
The Lord's servant, Charles William Gho, was welcomed into our heavenly home on June 12, 2018 after eighty-eight years on this earthly journey. He shared the past sixty-two years of his life with his wife, Nancy Grattifiori Gho, whom he referred to as, "The most beautiful woman I've ever seen." The love of Christ and church remained central to Charles and it provided the template for which he lived his life and raised his children. Love, faith, strength, honor and hard work were the pillars of character that defined him and are vividly reflected in the way he lived out the gift of life.
Charles' vocation was in agriculture; he farmed the Mississippi delta for over forty years and was instrumental in the establishment, growth and success of Buck Island Seed Company. In Charles' earlier years, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.
Charles is reunited with his family who has entered heaven before him, particularly his oldest son Charles William Gho, Jr.; his parents Reno and Julia Demilio Gho and his sisters Mary Elizabeth Gho Haley and Gloria Gho Porter.
Charles' family who invite you to remember and honor him are – his wife Nancy and their children; Cathy Booth & husband Bill; Curtis Gho & Tracy; Alan Gho & wife Mary; Elizabeth Phillips & husband Hank; Patricia Massey & husband David; and Angie Arsenault & husband Tom; also, Charles' brother Joe Gho & wife Francis.
