Obituary of Darlene Clements

Darlene Clements Hot Springs, AR "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be anymore pain; for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4 Darlene Hampton Clements was born on September 22, 1963 in Clarksdale, MS to Rose Lee Hampton and Floyd Jones Sr. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She graduated from Coahoma Agricultural High School where she was an excellent academic student and an outstanding majorette. She later attended Coahoma Community college with dreams of becoming a nurse. She was a loving mother, and she often cared for and watched over many children that were not her own. She was well known for her good down home southern cooking and most can attest to stopping by for a plate especially during the holidays. She helped anyone in need when it was well within her capabilities as she had a generous and giving servants heart. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, Darlene went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, around 1:30pm in Hot Springs, AR. Surely, she has on a robe as bright as her smile! Glory, Hallelujah!!! She is with the Lord, God Almighty!!! Visitation is Friday, January 14, 2022, 4:00-6:00 PM at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS.
