James Lloyd Ainsworth, 93, retired from Emhart Corp., passed away Friday August 17, 2018 at Northwest MS Medical Center in Clarksdale, MS. Visitation is Saturday August 25, 2018, 12:00-2:00pm at Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS. Funeral services are 2:00pm Saturday August 25, 2018 at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale, MS with burial in the Memorial Gardens. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale, MS is handling the arrangements.

Mr. Ainsworth served our country during WWII. While in the United States Army he earned the purple heart, a silver star and a bronze star. He was very loyal to his family and friends. A father to many and most important, he served the Lord. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years Annie Mae Pate Ainsworth of Lyon, MS; brother Willie Ainsworth of Belview, MS; sister Inez Havens of Lyon, MS; adopted grandson Rodger Havens and his fiance' Melissa Fox both of Lyon, MS.

Preceded in death by his parents W.B. and Mary Della Lucky Ainsworth.
